What does "Framed" mean?

This piece is an ode to my childhood self. A time when I imagined myself as a little river person, half-fish half-girl. I’d walk down to the river by my home in the evenings and sit on the banks of the river and imagine myself swimming below the murky waters. Reimagining myself as part of the river and part of the creatures that lived in it.
