Lucie Bause studied Literature at Trent University in Ontario, Spanish language and Literature at Universidad de Granada in Spain, and Fine Art at the Alberta College of Art and Design in Alberta. She has been granted The Mentor Artist-Educator Certificate from Learning Through the Arts from The Royal Conservatory of Music. Lucie’s home base has been in the Bow Valley since 1989. Over the years, she has been involved in numerous group and solo art exhibitions in Canmore, Banff, Calgary and Edmonton. She has received commissions by the Town of Canmore and The Albertan Foundation for the Arts to create public artworks, including paintings, a road mural and two large-scale interactive sculptures. She has recently moved to Cochrane and was thrilled to open her heART & soul home art gallery and studio in Fall 2020.
